Before 2002, the World Cup didn’t have an official Player of the Match award. So, together with Michelob Ultra, COPA90 set out to put that right.
After digging through the archives, they retrospectively awarded a Player of the Match for every single World Cup fixture played before 2002, tracking down each recipient and delivering their long-overdue certificate. This film tells the story of the sheer determination that made it all possible.
